The accommodation for Painting and Tasting South France – June is in a traditional old village house that has been renovated to the highest standards. As a result, it’s full of old-world charm with all the mod cons. The house has several spaces to relax, as well as a heated swimming pool for warmer days.

There is a mix of twin and double bedrooms – all air-conditioned and with private bathrooms.

The house is in the centre of our village where you’ll find a few local shops and places to grab a coffee. Pouzolles is in the heart of the wine-making region of the Languedoc and is surrounded by vineyards. If you want to explore the local countryside you are welcome to join us on a dog walk on one of the days or just go off and explore on your own.

After time to settle in at your accommodation, we’ll meet you for a welcome drink and run through the week’s activities before your first dinner together.

  • Day 2: Pouzolles painting day

After breakfast, we’ll spend the morning in our studio to assess all of your levels of painting and to run over a few techniques. This will be followed by lunch in our courtyard and an afternoon painting the view from our village square. There will be time to relax before a dinner prepared by Monica.

  • Day 3: Roquebrun and the River Orb

It’s time to do a little exploring, we’re off to paint a river scene. We’ll spend the day sitting under the Plein trees painting this classical French scene. Lunch at a local restaurant and then back to Pouzolles for some downtime and dinner.

  • Day 4: Windmill and Landscape

Today’s location is the old windmill at Faugeres interspersed by a chic picnic under the trees. Then it’s back for a rest and paella at our house.

  • Day 5: Free Day
