Autumn in the air and what I love about this area is that the sun keeps shining – most of the time. Last week, I was out painting en plein air and making our first video tutorial with a good friend of ours who happens to be a drone pilot. Exciting stuff.

We storyboarded our movie and set off to the location. The idea was to have the ‘viewer’ zoom in from the surrounding vines on to me, the artist, working on my plein air painting of the Road to Neffies. Then sketch would blend through the colour phases to the finished painting.

The plan went well and after many hours in the editing room the video came together. Take a look – the final version is on our homepage. I hope to be putting more together in the coming months. Watch this space.
